accurately, the issue that concerns me is the large amount of people still
falling for this / believing the propaganda.
I don’t mind so much the news being fake. That has gone on forever. And I don’t want censorship to stop it. Though certainly there is a role for
defamation lawsuits against media companies that slander or libel people. The solution here is to be some combination
of self-reform by the media, e.g., to avoid the defamation lawsuits as well as
people waking up and stop watching.

birthright citizenship and targeting “birth tourism”
After the Supreme Court
struck down a broader attempt in Trump v. Barbara (late June), Trump signed a
pair of narrower orders. One instructs agencies not to recognize citizenship
for certain children of non-citizen parents (including those of “alien enemies,”
foreign-government employees, or parents who arranged commercial “birth
tourism”). The second specifically aims to end birth tourism by directing the
State and Homeland Security departments to deny or revoke visas and take
related enforcement steps. Legal challenges were filed almost immediately.
August 10, 2026: Trump’s executive order overhauling
childhood vaccine recommendations
He signed the “Delivering
Gold Standard Childhood Vaccine Recommendations for Americans” order in the
Oval Office. It reduces the list of vaccines recommended for all children from
roughly 18 diseases to 11, moves others into “high-risk” or “shared clinical
decision-making” categories, recommends eventually splitting the combined MMR
vaccine into three separate shots, and urges spacing immunizations across
separate visits. It also directs the Justice Department to challenge state laws
that limit religious or medical exemptions. The move, closely aligned with
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s priorities and issued amid measles
outbreaks, immediately drew strong pushback from many physicians and
public-health groups.
